In general, the use of the Licensed Artwork for ANY purpose other than that explicitly stated in the License Terms is prohibited.
In case of any doubt, please contact me to obtain written permission for any use not explicitly covered by the License Terms.
❌ Non-Transferability & Third-Party Collaborator Access: The Licensed Artwork is intended exclusively for use by the individual or legal entity (the “Licensee”) identified in connection with the purchase, and the License may not be transferred or sublicensed to any third party.
The Licensee may provide access to the necessary files to graphic designers, manufacturers, printing facilities, suppliers, or other technical and production partners acting on the Licensee’s behalf, solely to the extent necessary for the preparation, printing, or production of the Licensee’s permitted final products.
Such access does not constitute a transfer or sublicense and does not grant any third-party collaborator any independent right to use or commercially exploit the Licensed Artwork. No third-party collaborator may use, reproduce, or exploit the Licensed Artwork or the files for their own use or benefit, or on behalf of any individual or business other than the Licensee.
❌ Wholesalers, Brokers & Intermediaries Prohibited: The Licensed Artwork may not be used for the production and wholesale distribution of fabrics, printed raw materials, or other intermediate products to third-party businesses or individuals for subsequent conversion into final products.
The Licensee identified in the applicable License and purchase documentation must be the business or individual on whose behalf the final products incorporating the Licensed Artwork are produced and commercially offered or sold. Physical printing or manufacturing may be carried out by third-party technical or production partners acting exclusively on behalf of the Licensee, without acquiring any independent right to use or commercially exploit the Licensed Artwork.
❌ Digital Products: The use of the Licensed Artwork for the creation of any digital or intangible product for commercial purposes is strictly prohibited, as well as its upload, distribution, or availability on digital content platforms, file libraries, or artificial intelligence services.
Examples include, but are not limited to:
• Designs and images for social media or online advertisements
• Website elements, app graphics, or digital wallpapers for mobile/tablet
• Digital publications such as e-magazines, e-books, digital cards, or newspapers
• Uploading to content creation or distribution platforms (e.g., AI tools, marketplaces, stock libraries), whether in original form or modified
❌ Social Media: The sharing or posting of the Licensed Artwork in its digital form at any resolution, such as image files or designs, on social media accounts, websites, apps, or other online channels is strictly prohibited. Only the display of the artwork through finished physical products is allowed, without distributing or reproducing the original pattern digitally.
❌Design Modifications: Modifications to the Licensed Artwork are allowed only as described in the license terms and the accompanying guide. Examples of permitted modifications include:
• Scaling the overall size proportionally (always equal to or smaller than the original) to maintain print quality.
• Background colour changes or other colour adjustments are permitted only for the specific files and elements, and only to the extent expressly provided for in the Usage Guide accompanying the relevant Licensed Artwork.
• All modifications must respect the original spirit and aesthetic of the artwork.
Strictly prohibited:
• Altering the relative proportions of elements or the width/height ratio.
• Changing the colors of the elements (unless the project guide explicitly permits it) or applying filters/digital effects.
• Mixing or incorporating elements of the artwork with elements from other projects not belonging to the specific artwork.
⚠️ Colour Reproduction & Printing: The colours displayed in the digital files on screen do not constitute a guarantee of an exact colour match with the final printed product. Colour reproduction may vary depending on factors related to the specific production process, including, but not limited to, the type, composition and colour of the material or fabric, the printing method, inks, equipment, colour settings and printing profiles.
The Licensee, in cooperation with the relevant printing or production facility, is responsible for verifying colour reproduction and the suitability of the files for the intended application prior to final or mass production. A physical sample or print test is recommended before proceeding with the final production quantity.
The Creator shall not be liable for variations in colour reproduction or for results arising from materials, equipment, settings, printing methods or other production-related factors beyond the Creator’s control.
❌ Derivative Works: The creation, registration, or commercial exploitation of derivative works that are substantially based on the Licensed Artwork and that transfer, reproduce, or represent its key visual elements in another form of application or production is strictly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to, the creation of embroidery, jewellery, decorative elements using beads or pearls, ceramic elements, sculptural applications, or other forms of design that are clearly based on the composition, motifs, or individual elements of the original artwork in a manner that creates the impression of a new original or independent work.
The only exceptions are applications that are expressly permitted for a specific artwork and clearly described in the corresponding Usage Guide accompanying that artwork. Such applications are permitted solely within the limits and in the manner specified in the relevant Usage Guide, do not constitute a general permission to create derivative works, and remain permitted only for as long as the corresponding License remains in effect.
Upon expiration of the License, the right to undertake any new production or manufacture of products based on such specifically permitted applications automatically ceases. Any products lawfully produced prior to the expiration of the License may only continue to be sold in accordance with the terms governing the sell-off of existing stock following expiration of the License.
Any permitted modification or application remains part of the original Licensed Artwork and does not create any new ownership rights, intellectual property rights, or copyright claims in favour of the Licensee.
❌ Print-on-Demand / Made-to-Order Services: Any use that allows third parties, such as end users, to customize or use the Licensed Artwork on digital or physical products, whether for commercial or personal purposes, is strictly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to, websites, apps, and services operating under a print-on-demand or made-to-order model, such as Society6, Desenio, The Poster Club, and similar business models.
❌ Access & File Storage: The files of the Licensed Artwork are provided to the Buyer via download links, which remain active for a reasonable period from the date of purchase, sufficient to complete the download. After this period, availability of the files is not guaranteed. The Buyer bears full responsibility for the safe storage and preservation of the files. The Creator is not obliged to re-provide the files in case of loss.
❌ Trademark / Logo / Intellectual Property: The Licensed Artwork may not be used as part of a trademark, logo, or to obtain similar intellectual or industrial property rights. The Licensee is not permitted, and shall not attempt, to register, protect, or enforce any trademark, logo, or related right over the Licensed Artwork.
❌ Brand Name Placement on the Artwork: The integration, placement, or display of the Licensee’s brand name, logo, or other identifying elements directly onto the Licensed Artwork is strictly prohibited when such use presents the artwork as an original creation of the brand or implies full ownership or absolute exclusivity over the artwork.

❌ Copyright: You may not claim the Licensed Artwork, nor any modification of it, as your own work protected by copyright. Any such action will result in the immediate forfeiture of the rights granted under the commercial license.
❌ False Claim of Ownership or Authorship: You are strictly prohibited from claiming that you are the creator or owner of the Licensed Artwork or any of its modifications. Compliance with this provision is a condition for maintaining the usage rights granted to you under the license.
⚠️ Breach of Terms: In the event of any violation of the above terms, the license shall terminate immediately and automatically, without any refund. The Creator reserves the right to take further legal action if necessary.
Upon completion of the purchase, the Licensee acquires the usage rights corresponding to the selected package and type of License, as defined and further detailed in the relevant section and the applicable License document, for the duration specified for that License (2 or 3 years), in accordance with the Start Month and End Month stated in the applicable License document, with the option to renew by written agreement.
